Attention to detail matters preparing assets for cross-country transportation. When an asset is being transported hundreds or even thousands of miles by truck, shrink wrapping requires much more than simply covering the equipment with plastic. Every detail matters.

At ShrinkWrap Xpress, we carefully prepare each asset before applying the shrink wrap film. We evaluate the shape and configuration of the equipment, identify areas that could create pressure points or chafing, and protect contact surfaces before the film is applied.

Two large fire pump skids professionally shrink wrapped for land transportation. Each skid was carefully wrapped to provide a tight, protective barrier against rain, road spray, dirt, dust, and other environmental exposure during transit.

Special attention was given to the skids' irregular shapes, protruding components, edges, and potential contact points to help minimize chafing, tearing, and movement of the film during transportation. The finished wrap provides comprehensive protection while keeping the equipment securely enclosed and ready for the demands of long-distance road transportation.

Three large machinery units were professionally shrink wrapped and prepared for delivery to the port, where they would be loaded into shipping containers for overseas transportation.

Each unit was carefully wrapped to provide protection against moisture, dust, dirt, and environmental exposure during handling, port transfer, container loading, and the international journey.
